If you are making a bouquet for yourself, then remember that it will be better if the stems fit tightly into the vessel. If the composition is presented as a gift, you can buy a vase of a suitable size in advance and include it as a gift.

As for color, there is a wide choice. The bouquet can include flowers of different shades or be in the same color scheme.

In case the bouquet is selected to suit your interior, you can choose color scheme to match the color accents of the room or complement the main shades. For example, if the basic color scheme of the room is pastel blue, and the accents are red, then the tulips can be either in a red shade or close to cold.

Both in the interior and as a gift, color solutions can be selected based on the meaning of the colors of a particular shade. The red tulip is a symbol of love; when you give such a bouquet, you are conveying a message asking people to trust you. And such flowers displayed in the room will fill the house with positive energy of well-being and prosperity.

Preparation

We cut the stems under running water with a sharp and, please note, a clean knife about 1.5-2.5 cm from the end.

It is necessary to cut diagonally, this way you ensure that the flower can absorb more moisture.

We remove more leaves, although you can stop at one leaf from each flower. We take into account that when composing a bouquet of medium or large size, florists, as a rule, leave only the top leaf; therefore, on small ones you can leave a little more to add splendor. We remove any existing dirt and debris from the flowers.

Before assembling the bouquet, you can straighten the flowers and give them shape. Just put a bouquet wrapped in paper or newspaper (the top edge should be higher than the level of the buds) for an hour and a half to two cold water. It is better to do this immediately before donation, so it is better to buy flowers in the morning.

Forming a bouquet

It was already proposed above to make a bouquet based on a vase. Therefore, we take it, wash it thoroughly, wipe it, pour warm water. We place most of it along the edges of the vessel, then fill the middle. If we want the bouquet to stand as vertically as possible, then we place the stems that way, and if they cross, the flowers at the edges will be tilted.

If you want to present a bouquet in its classic form in packaging, then, having laid it out in a vase or similar container, simply take it out, slightly dry the stems and wrap it in wrapping paper, mica, etc. The options are shown below in the photo.

Combination with other colors

Since the flower is spring, tulips will look perfect with plants of the same season. For example, a bouquet containing tulips and mimosas.

An impressive bouquet will be made from tulips and daffodils, especially if the shades are contrasting.

It is worth knowing that when in water, daffodils secrete harmful mucus, which clogs the capillaries of other flowers, which, accordingly, leads to their rapid withering. Therefore, before packing it in a bouquet, it is advisable not to place tulips and daffodils together in water.
