Sony 3 or Xbox. Which is better xbox or playstation? Sony PS3 game console: quick reference

3 months ago, the role of a media center under my TV was performed by a computer assembled in a case from an old radio. It looked cool and fit into the interior, but I was completely too lazy to deal with viruses and Windows, and MK4 had become rather boring over the years. As a result, it was decided to buy a console.

It turned out that the processor in the Xbox 360 is cooler than the processor in the PS3. More precisely, it is better suited for games. That the Xbox video system was developed by ATI specifically for the console, and the PS3 video system from nVidia is a video card from a PC adapted for the console. That it is easier to develop games for Xbox. And although in general the systems are approximately equal, the graphics in games on Xbox are all the same. it is somewhat better. This is also evidenced by the screenshots. The Xbox picture is more detailed and realistic, although this is not noticeable in all games, not in all scenes.

As for the accessibility of the games themselves, the forces are equal here too. Most games exist for both platforms, but each has its own exclusives. For Xbox, this is Halo, add-ons for GTA4 (!), for PS3: Uncharted, now Heavy rain.

Each platform has its own network - Playstation Network and Xbox Live. In both you can buy games, download demos, and communicate with other players. But you can play on this network on Xbox Live only if you have a paid account ($100/year); on PSN, online games are free.

I decided that since I wanted to play Mortal Kombat and GTA4, it would be better to get an Xbox. Well, it’s a console for games, I thought, and here the Xbox is at least a little ahead. And there are no add-ons for GTA4 anywhere else. And in full confidence that I need an Xbox, that the console is not Windows, that after a while I will also play with Project Natal, I went to the store. So I became, for now, the happy owner of an Xbox.

Even before I bought the console, I knew that I would have to spend money on accessories. I obviously need a second joystick. But for the box there are only native joysticks from Microsoft. They don’t allow other manufacturers here and for this they even encrypted the data transmission channel (now, however, they will let Razer in). Therefore, you will have to buy a native joystick for 2.5 thousand. But it will also contain 2 simple AA batteries. Requires batteries. And those that you can play with while charging, and this is the Play&Charge kit for 800 rubles. I need 2 of these sets of battery and cable.

And now, before the New Year, the Xbox 360 Elite with two joysticks and 2 chargers shines on me with super-bright LEDs. Included in the console is an exclusive from Microsoft car simulator Forza Motorsport 3, GTA4 and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (which we played all New Year's holidays) were purchased separately. Well, in addition, a number of evil eyes were shining on me, which perceived the purchase of Microsoft products as treason. :-)

After signing up for Xbox Live, you are given a paid account for a month. This gives you the opportunity to play online, use the built-in clients Last.fm, Twitter, Sky, Facebook. The console begins to greet you with a Spotlight section, which displays various news about games that have just been released or are about to be released, plus information about discounts and promotions. The console menu consists of sections located one above the other. To move between sections, use the up and down buttons, and to move within a section, use left/right. There are quite a few sections, but you only see one at a time. It is impossible to get the big picture. If I'm not mistaken, you have access to 3 stores: games, videos, music. Somewhere inside you can download demos, themes, video codecs, buy games, clothes for your avatar, the Zune store has movies and music. Since there is no official Xbox Live in Russia, I pretended that I was a prim Englishman. Then I read that it’s better to be Australian - it’s cheaper. Some items in stores are sold for some local currency. At first I thought that it was earned as you progressed through the games, then it became clear that you need to buy payment cards. It was not specified where to buy them. Most games are sold for money. In my case, pounds were displayed. You can connect a bank card to your account.

The menu section, which could be considered the main one if it were not hidden when the console starts, shows which disk is currently inserted into the console, contains information about your avatar and its achievements. Galleries of music, photos and videos, and system settings are also located here. If you have a computer with Windows Media Center, then you can connect it with the set-top box. I don’t have this - I haven’t tried it. Half of the desktop wallpaper is displayed as the background. The entire wallpaper is rarely seen.

The virtual keyboard is worth mentioning separately. I don't know what they were smoking at Microsoft, but the letters in it are arranged in alphabetical order. The keyboard layout was designed for faster typing, where, if not in a console controlled by joystick arrows, this is important, I don’t know.

The joystick itself is large and heavy. Comfortable to hold. The keys on the cross are not separated from each other and form a single unit. The clicks are not precise enough. I got used to it quite quickly, but my friends, while playing Mortal Kombat, swore that instead of moving forward, the character began to jump. The keys on the right side of the joystick are quite small and convex. It’s not too stressful, but if you play for a long time, your fingers will get tired. The joystick has vibration, but it only worked on one of the two. It is possible, however, that one of my joysticks was defective. As I already said, no other controllers except those from Microsoft can be connected to the console. The joysticks are quite durable: two AA batteries were enough for about 2 weeks of play, the batteries last a very long time.

Xbox doesn't have a browser. At first I thought that he was not needed here. It’s kind of stupid to go online with a joystick when there’s a computer next to you, but then I wanted to watch a video from YouTube on the big screen. The only option is to download the video from your computer, convert it into a format understandable to the set-top box and watch it over the network.

Speaking of formats. There are quite a few of them on xbox. Of course, there are the most popular ones, but there are more codecs for PS3. In addition, Xbox is not able to play files larger than 4GB - a limitation of the file system.

The console does not have wi-fi - sold separately. Here, in general, a lot of things are sold separately for unknown money.

But the Xbox has a big plus: it can be hacked. This is why he is now attractive to many. Yes, if you hack the console, you will probably be banned from Xbox Live, but why is it needed if you can download games from torrents, and not pay 2 thousand wooden ones for them. For the same reason, the secondary market for Xbox games is almost undeveloped, and a new console is valued cheaper than a rebuilt one. I didn't break mine, though. I needed 2 games - you can go broke on them, and all this mess with hacking... No big deal.

Bottom line. Xbox is a system designed for games. So sharpened that they forgot about everything else. Not a very user-friendly interface, lack of popular codecs, browser, web services in any form, official Xbox Live in Russia, file system restrictions from 20 years ago, monopoly on accessories. However, if all you need from a console is games and nothing else, the Xbox is your option. The games here are at least a little more beautiful. Besides, if you decide to hack the console, the games will also be free.

Recently I became completely disillusioned with Xbox. It became clear (where have I been before?) that just games are not enough for me. I need at least YouTube. I want a more thoughtful menu, a more convenient joystick. I'm not going to hack the console, so its biggest plus for many people doesn't matter to me. It is unknown when Project Natal will appear and I highly doubt that in life everything will be as smooth as at the presentation. There's also a PS3 exclusive, Heavy Rain, which has led to liters of drool in my house. Long story short, I swapped my Xbox for a PS3.

PlayStation 3

Here you can immediately see that it is more thought out. It may be more difficult for game developers, but it’s much easier for me. The prefix is smaller, not here external unit power supply, slot loading of disks is more convenient and I have long been accustomed to a sliding tray. There is an order of magnitude less noise, even when the console is spinning the disk.

The joystick is smaller and lighter. Not as grippy, but quite comfortable. The keys on the cross are separate. There are much fewer accidental clicks. The joystick has a built-in battery and is charged using a regular USB-miniUSB cable. The buttons on the right are large and flat. The joystick has vibration and an accelerometer - it is sensitive to changes in position in space. In addition, it fits the console big number accessories from third party manufacturers. The presence of Blueray, although not something significant for me, this moment, but it makes me happy. Wi-fi is built in. Soon they promise new controllers a la Nintendo Wii. The console has some interesting features. For example, you can connect a headset for voice chat and the set-top box will change your voice on the fly.

The PS3 menu is clearer. The sections here are arranged horizontally (scroll with the left/right buttons), and the subsections are arranged vertically. Here it is always clear where exactly you are. On Xbox, if you bring up the menu while playing, it's not at all like the main menu, here it's the same menu.

The photo gallery has slideshow themes, some quite funny. The menu when watching movies is much better. Particularly pleasing are the live previews of the film's chapters. The virtual keyboard is much more convenient.

The built-in browser is quite convenient. For the console, of course. YouTube opens in a special YouTube XL design, adapted for TVs. It is, however, adapted for older TVs, so the controls on the LCD look too large, but you can switch to the standard view. However, YouTube's adaptability does not prevent it from being wildly slow. Some videos do not open at all; when others are opened, the page begins to spontaneously refresh every 5 seconds. HD videos are not played. We can only hope for updates.

In general, it is noticeable that the PS3 is slower than the Xbox. You can observe slight stutters in games, although this happens very rarely. Anti-aliasing works worse.

I have questions about playing music. When you enter the game or PlayStation Store, the music is turned off and you have to re-enable it through the menu. At the same time, you won’t be able to turn on music from your computer - only the music that is on the console’s screw.

Playstation Network is free and officially exists in Russian. All prices are in rubles. Navigation inside the store is quite convenient. They sell interesting things. For example, Mortal Kombat 2 for 170 rubles. :-) Cards for payment are sold in Eldorado, for example. True, there are not as many games as we would like, and films are not sold in Russia at all, and there is no music at all.

Separately, it is worth mentioning the fun with the avatar. If on Xbox the avatar is a Tamagotchi tadpole, then here it’s more like Second Live. There is a small world here where the same players hang out, buy houses and clothes, want to go to the cinema and bowling alley and communicate in every possible way.

The secondary market for games is well developed. The forums are full of advertisements for selling/trading games. This is not surprising, because the PS3 has not yet been hacked, although they promise to do so in the near future.

They say Xbox is cheaper than PS3. On the one hand, this is true - the cheapest xbox in the arcade configuration can be bought for less than 10,000 rubles, but if you compare the same configurations, the difference is not in its favor. PS3 costs 14,000 rubles. This is a set-top box and a wireless joystick with charging. Xbox Elite costs RUB 13,000. Add to it the Play&Charge kit for 800 rubles and, to be completely honest, a Wi-Fi module for 3 thousand. And don’t forget, when you want to buy a second joystick, you will only have one option for 2.5 thousand rubles. which will require another battery, and on the PS3 there are a lot of options. Of course, you can hack your Xbox and not pay for games, but that's a different comparison.

Don’t forget that in terms of survivability, Xbox has a worse reputation - consoles often break.

Bottom line. Nothing is perfect. PS3 occasionally slows down, YouTube works frankly poorly, you can’t listen to music in the background. However, there are still more advantages. A large selection of controllers, a much more thoughtful menu, the ability to install Linux and an NES emulator (UPD: Only on older models, the PS3 Slim does not have the ability to install Linux and emulators :-(), good old games in PSStore. For this reason, I am ready to forgive her minor jambs, some of which may disappear with new firmware.

Finally, the pros and cons of each system.

  1. Availability of cheap kits
  2. More powerful processor and graphics system
  3. Picture quality in games is often better
  4. Possibility of hacking - free games
  5. If you have a computer with Windows Media Center, you can view your media library from the set-top box
  1. Monopoly on expensive accessories
  2. Configuration comparable to PS3 is more expensive
  3. Online games and a few web services only on a paid account
  4. Xbox Live is not officially launched in Russia
  5. No browser
  6. The interface is poorly designed
  7. The joystick is comfortable to hold, but not so convenient to play with
  8. The joystick comes with 2 AA batteries. Battery and chargers - for a fee
  9. Doesn't play videos larger than 4GB

Playstation 3

  1. Controllers from other manufacturers are suitable (including very cheap ones)
  2. Online play is free
  3. Availability of Blueray drive
  4. Availability of wi-fi
  5. Has a built-in browser
  6. PlayStation Home, reminiscent of Second Life
  7. Convenient joystick with accelerometer
  8. Ability to install Linux (UPD: only old “fat” models)
  9. Smarter interface
  10. More codecs supported
  1. Slower than Xbox
  2. The quality of the built-in browser leaves much to be desired (especially in YouTube)
  3. Until it's hacked, there are no free games
  4. Worse picture in some games, poor anti-aliasing
  5. You can't listen to music online while playing

General disadvantages

Both consoles are equipped with USB inputs for connecting flash drives/joysticks. It would seem that just stick a mouse and keyboard into them and play shooters like you’re used to doing on a PC. In PS3, in addition, in the settings there are parameters for the keyboard and mouse and the ability to connect them via bluetooth. Indeed, using the keyboard and mouse, you can control the console and use the browser, but shooters can only be played with a gamepad. For both consoles, craftsmen have released adapters that allow you to use the usual combination in shooting games, but finding these adapters on store shelves is unrealistic.

Both consoles are not particularly friendly to nearby computers. And if Windows users have at least some happiness from the media center on the Xbox, then Mac users are forced to use third-party software. Of course, neither one nor the other console can display a collection of music from iTunes as well as it does itself. However, the PS3 is slightly more Mac OS X friendly than the Xbox. It’s worth noting here that I, in principle, have not seen a media center that works well with iTunes on any platform, with the possible exception of Apple TV.

UPD 01/04/2012.

Quite a long time has passed since this article was written. Xbox has released a slim version. Kinnect and PS Move appeared. PS3 has been hacked. But I still get asked the question from the title of the article. Let me try to clarify my position once again.

Isn't the money your mom gives you to school enough for games? Is the toad simply strangling to pay the game manufacturer for his work? Do you play from morning to evening and want to complete all existing games? Buy an Xbox. If you break it, you'll download games from the internet. Graphic arts in cross-platform games May be better. And it doesn't break like it used to. In general, Boxing is, of course, a good console. But... Maybe due to the fact that it was broken a long time ago and this is considered normal, I don’t remember here the same high-quality exclusives, in such quantities as on the PS3. Well, buying a console and playing it alone (or paying for the game online) is somehow strange.

For others I recommend PS3. Gorgeous exclusives with graphics that PCs can envy (not always, of course). During all this time, only one game slowed me down. Maybe the disc was bad, maybe the game itself was poorly written. But most importantly - free game with friends online. Another plus is the PS Store, which is full of games. Payment cards are sold in stores; bank cards are accepted. And a super bonus - a game purchased from the PS Store can be played on 5 consoles. That is, some games can be bought for five people :-). And this is not a bug - it's a feature.

Regarding Move/Kinnect. Honestly, I haven’t tried Kinnect. I heard that he lags sometimes. I didn’t look at games via kinnect either. I played with the movie and liked it. I think that holding something in your hand while playing is somehow more natural or something :-). Well, there are additional buttons at hand. I don't know how it's implemented in kinnect, but I think the movie is at least stupid because of the buttons and there are more options. But I can’t say anything here.

Gamers dominate and compete in the world today Xbox One and the fourth PlayStation model, but not everyone has yet decided which is better: PS3 or Xbox 360. Not everyone is a fan of new games, there are those who love the classics. And some consider it simply unacceptable to spend more than 15 thousand on a toy. They just need to figure out what is better - in order to make the right choice.

Which console is better to choose for the game: Xbox 360 or PS3?

Spoiler: there is no better one here. What Sonya is criticized for works great on Xbox, and vice versa. That's really the beauty of having two consoles: everyone can choose what suits them best. Let's see how these consoles differ: PS3 vs Xbox 360 - Fight!

Almost everyone was involved in comparing console graphics. And everyone tried in vain to look for any significant differences. Here it is worth understanding that there is no fundamental difference, everything depends not only on the console, but also on the video game, on the TV, and also on the connection: HDMI or these three multi-colored wires.

PS3 is often accused of having "cluttered" graphics. Yes, in some games, especially old ones, there is “soap”, but one cannot say that the graphics are really at a low level. If you are a very sophisticated connoisseur and a slightly degraded picture already hurts the eye, the Xbox 360 is definitely your choice. According to many tests, this console shows graphics a little, but better than on the PS3.

Performance and Durability

Here the consoles are not much different. For some time they sinned against “Sonya”, that after short terms use it refuses to work, in fact the console lasts for 5-6 years of playing with pleasure, or even more if you take care of it.

The same can be said about the Xbox 360. Although this is the brainchild of Microsoft, the console will have a long life if used correctly. True, there were rumors that she breaks discs while in a horizontal position. But they (rumors) can be equated to similar ones regarding PlayStation.

There is no need to compare the power and internal filling of consoles. On computers this is done in order to determine whether this or that game will work, but here it is enough to look whether the box with the disc is marked PS3 or Xbox 360. The technical potential of the consoles is almost the same, and does not have of great importance, since gamers simply don’t need to worry about it like they do on a PC. So in this matter it doesn’t matter whether you choose the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3.

Games

This is where adherents of one or another prefix clash with each other. And they clash even more harshly than in disputes about graphon. Games and the approach to purchasing them on Xbox 360 and PS3 are exactly the opposite.

Xbox 360

Pirates love this console. Because it, like Windows, is very easy to install hacked games on. You can “jailbreak” a console either by yourself or by using the services of a wizard who will immediately install a hundred video games, and you will no longer need them for a long time.

Buy it licensed games It’s almost more difficult here. The online store is developing, but slowly, there are not often cool applications, promotions and everything in the same spirit. Discs are usually expensive. And who actually buys CDs in 2017?!

PS3

Things are completely different with PlayStation. It is possible to hack a console, but there are few craftsmen who can do it well. And it’s very difficult to install a pirated video game on an unhacked Sonya. The developers tried to do everything so that people would buy games from them.

And they buy games from them. Yes, the prices are the same as on Xbox, but if you don’t buy them on disc media, but buy them through the PS Store, you can save a lot. Almost always, various promotions and games can be snatched up for 300–500 rubles. It's also worth taking into account the fact that both consoles will see their prices drop soon as the new generation finally takes over the video game industry.

Exclusives

For many, the ways in which games are acquired are not as important as the games themselves. And PlayStation and Xbox compete in this too. And the first one greatly surpasses the brainchild from Microsoft in terms of the number of truly noticeable exclusives.

PS3 Exclusives:

And nothing has been said here yet about games such as Resistance, Killzone, God of War and a couple of other similar ones - worthy, but not very standout.

Xbox 360 Exclusives:

Here we also take into account those games that are really popular and known to very, very many people. In addition to them, there is also a huge bunch of different small exclusives.

Accessories

In this aspect, the consoles again differ from each other. PlayStation 3 supports a large number of joysticks from different manufacturers. If you feel sorry for two or three thousand for a new controller, you can buy any Chinese one and give it to your friends when they come to play Mortal Combat. And also on Sonya there is such a thing as PS Movie. It's a small gamepad with a ball at the end. To control it, you need to additionally buy a special camera - PS Eye. After that, you can play all sorts of things like dancing or boxing. Quite inconvenient, since for normal play you need two PS Movies and a camera. But for shooters, you can buy a machine gun and then everything goes through in one breath and is very easy - you feel like you’re in a shooting gallery.

With the Xbox 360 it's the other way around. Joysticks, unlike PS, are only suitable for original ones. No other can be connected. They also run on batteries, rather than built-in batteries. But instead of the inconvenient PS Movie, there is Kinect. It's just a camera that captures your movements without any additional controllers and allows you to play a variety of games and sports. You can do this either alone or with friends. The thing is much more convenient.

Bottom line

Which console should you choose? PS3 or Xbox 360? If you:

  • love getting games for free and don’t worry too much about the online component;
  • love outdoor games or interactive sports;
  • fan of various shooters;
  • connoisseur of high graphics.

Then you should definitely get the Xbox 360.

If you:

  • you don’t spare money on games, but you do spare money on controllers;
  • love when you only need to click on a button in the online store and after that you can calmly start playing;
  • We've seen enough reviews of Heavy Rain or Uncharted.

Then you should get a PS3. Both consoles are good and will find their buyer.

Relatively recently, the world saw a new generation of consoles from Xbox and Sony, respectively. Despite the release of new products, the previous generation of consoles can still be purchased in stores, and both of these consoles are presented in great abundance on the secondary market. Of course, users often have a question: what is better to buy - an Xbox 360 or a PlayStation 3? Let's try to understand this interesting issue together.

Price

Perhaps we should start the conversation with the cost of consoles. We open the website of a famous electronics hypermarket and look at the price tags. The cheapest Xbox 360 will cost 9,990 rubles - this is the Xbox 360 Microsoft 4GB+Peggle 2+Kinect Sports+Forza Horizon version, which includes three games and one wireless gamepad.

Now let's look at Sony's price. The PS3 Sony 12GB console will cost us the same 9,990 rubles, but the device only comes with a wireless gamepad without games.

Parity? Not really. For example, at the time of writing this article, the specified Xbox console has a discount of 1,500 rubles, and in addition, the game bundle comes with three games at once. However, I am forced to state the fact that today consoles cost the same, although Sony is usually slightly more expensive on the secondary market. Well, in my opinion, this is great - such competition only benefits buyers.

As for other versions of consoles, their cost will also be at the same level, except that the choice of versions from Xbox is slightly larger.

Appearance

I don't want to get hung up on appearance devices, because I don’t see any point in arguing about design - there are so many people, so many opinions. Therefore, I will just give you an example of what the consoles looked like at the time of presentation and what they look like now.

Xbox 360 and PS3 2006:

Xbox 360 and PS3 2015:

Joysticks

At first glance, the joysticks of these two consoles are almost identical to each other, but if you look closely, you will see that the location of the controls is different. I specifically asked several people who play both consoles which joystick they liked better. Everyone answered that the joystick on the Xbox 360 is somewhat more convenient, but not so much that they would consider the Microsoft product a winner in this round.

Graphic arts

There is a lot of controversy on this matter. Some argue that Sony has better graphics, while others, on the contrary, believe that Xbox is better. In my opinion, in terms of this parameter, the consoles are on the same level. Yes, Sony takes the lead in some places, and Xbox takes the lead in other games, but the difference is so small that you can only notice it if you connect both devices to different TVs and look at each of them in turn.

Games

There are cross-platform games for both consoles, which, of course, is a huge plus. Cross-platform games are those that are developed for different consoles, and in our case, for both Xbox 360 and Sony PS3. At the same time, each console has its own list of exclusive games. Therefore, it’s a draw again. By the way, there are so many games themselves for both consoles that you can easily get confused in them - there are so many of them.

Online services

Each of their companies has its own online service - Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Each has both a number of pros and cons (if you compare them as competitors), so I would not dare to say which one is better. It’s better for you to try both of these services yourself and draw your own conclusion. For example, on Xbox Live you have to pay for a premium membership, while on PSN the service is free. But Xbox Live has its advantages. In general, I think that in in this case the answer should remain with the buyer.

What's better?

A difficult question, oh so difficult, especially considering that the consoles are actually on the same level. However, most users agree that Sony, albeit slightly, is still better than its competitor from Microsoft. Of course, we are talking only about nuances that will not confuse an undemanding player. And this only means that the buyer must make his own choice. You can base it, for example, on exclusive games for a particular console.

3 months ago, the role of a media center under my TV was performed by a computer assembled in a case from an old radio. It looked cool and fit into the interior, but I was completely too lazy to deal with viruses and Windows, and MK4 had become rather boring over the years.

The set-top box is smaller, there is no external power supply, slot loading of disks is more convenient and I have long been accustomed to a sliding tray.

In addition, the console is compatible with a large number of accessories from third-party manufacturers. The presence of Blueray, although not something significant for me at the moment, is pleasing.

But the main thing is to play for free with friends online.

Consoles from Microsoft and Sony have long been fighting for market leadership. Each generation of consoles strives to win the hearts of customers with improved technical characteristics, the presence of interesting exclusives and other advantages.

Today we will find out which is better - PS4 or Xbox 360. These consoles belong to different generations, however, it is not possible to immediately draw a final conclusion about which one to purchase today.

What's good about the Xbox 360?

The previous generation console from Microsoft has a number of positive qualities. The first advantage is the cost, because such a set-top box will require less expenditure from you. For some, developed piracy on this console will also be a plus - after purchasing it, you will be able to play not only licensed versions of games. In all other respects, it lags behind the Sony PS4.

What's good about the Sony PlayStation 4?

Only one feature of the Japanese corporation's set-top box is confusing - its price. You'll have to pay a hefty sum for the PS4. All other parameters are satisfactory. Let's take a closer look at them.

  • Technical components. The console uses the DDR5 memory standard, which is faster than that installed in the most modern console from Microsoft – Xbox One. The Japanese one also beats its competitor due to the fact that it offers a larger amount of RAM for gaming needs, since its operating system takes up less space.

  • I'm pleased with the high performance of the graphics accelerator - the picture quality on Sony and Microsoft consoles is different, and not in favor of the latter. There is a nuance here: the developers are trying to optimize the game for the characteristics of a particular console, so you won’t notice much of a difference in performance.
  • Joystick. Gamepad is important element any console. The Xbox is almost flawless - the ergonomics are excellent, it’s convenient to operate, but it lacks some components that Sony considered necessary to add to its version of the device. The PS4 gamepad is equipped with a special touchpad, which developers actively use as an additional button. There is a built-in speaker that improves immersion in the game. There is an indicator light with support for brightness adjustment. It also has a regular headset port - a great option for those who want to chat with friends while playing.
  • Other possibilities. PS4 can remember the last 15 minutes of your game. This video can be saved or sent to a friend with a couple of clicks. If you have a camera, you can broadcast the gameplay. When you go into sleep mode, the console remembers where you finished playing.
