One of the most popular accounting programs, 1C: Accounting 8, requires constant updating due to the development of new platform capabilities. We offer detailed instructions on updating the 1C platform, which will help you easily switch to a newer version.

To work, you will need the Internet with access to the 1 C site and 20 minutes of free time. So let's begin.

Make sure the release is correct

Before upgrading the platform, you should ensure that the configuration you are using supports running in new version platforms.

How to find out the release number of the 1C platform and configuration? To do this, open the “Help” section in the main menu and select “About the program”.

A window will appear on the screen where the platform release number will be indicated in the first (top) block, and the configuration release number will be indicated in the “Configurations” section (in the main block).

You can also find out the release number by clicking on the yellow icon with the letter “i” inscribed in it - it is located in the upper right corner of the main program window.

Download the update from the official website

We will not consider updating the 1C platform in user mode, but will perform the installation manually. You need to download the update on the official website using the following link: https://releases.1c.ru/total (authorization required!)

Updating the program version is available only to registered users, so enter the login and password that were issued at the registration stage in the form provided. If you are not registered, do so now.

Attention! If, after downloading and checking the platform version, as described in the first paragraph, old version, most likely, the incorrect installer option was selected (for example, “thin client”).

Find and run the installer

The developers packaged the updates in a RAR archive, so you will need an archiver program that supports this format. Find the downloaded platform update, unpack it into a separate folder and run the setup.exe file.

Wait while the installation preparations complete. Then, in the installer welcome window, click Next to proceed to select your options.

Select the required components and interface language

Before you update the platform, you must select the components to work with. If you are not a system administrator, leave those that the system offers by default and click the “Next” button.

In the previous paragraph, the system will suggest a folder for installation - by default it is Program Files. If the main program files are located in a different directory, install it using the “Change” button. This is important for the program to work correctly.

On the next window, select the appropriate interface language (Russian is suggested by default) and click the “Next” button.

Start the update installation process

In the new window, click on the “Install” button - after this, the installation of the update files into the system will begin.

The procedure takes several minutes and directly depends on the performance of the computer and the operation of other applications running at that moment.

If the User Account Control window appears during the installation process, agree that you really want to install this software to your computer - click the “Yes” button.

After copying is completed and settings are made to the system, the program will prompt you to install the protection driver.

If you are using a USB dongle that provides protection at the hardware level, uncheck the box - the necessary driver is already on your system. Do the same if you have linked the 1C application to a specific computer at the software level - in this case there is also no need for a driver. Go to the next window by clicking the “Next” button.

Attention! If you missed the checkbox and the driver is installed again, this will not affect your further work in any way.

Complete the update installation

At the end of the installation, a window will appear on the screen with a “Finish” button - click it.

We have described in detail how to update the platform through the configurator - if the process was successful, the program will work stably on your computer. To verify this, use its capabilities for several days.

After this, remove previous versions of 1C:Enterprise 8.3 so that they do not take up space on your hard drive. To do this, go to the “Control Panel”, select the appropriate item in the list and click “Delete”.

If you continue to work with configurations created for the version 8.2 platform, do not delete it.

Leave two platforms of different versions on your computer (in our case, 8.2 and 8.3) - they will start automatically when you select the appropriate configuration.

In this article I will tell you how to set up the Taxi program interface for comfortable work, so that all the necessary buttons and the most necessary reports are always at hand.

1) Let's start with the most common question from my beloved clients related to the lack of the “Operations” menu. Many accountants used it to search for reports, processing, and documents that were sometimes very difficult to find in other sections of the program.

There is no “Operations” menu as such in Accounting 3.0. Its analogue is called “All functions” and by default the display of this section in the program is not set. To enable it, you need to enter the menu, which opens using the orange button with a triangle in the upper left corner of the program. In the list that appears, select the “Service” section and open the “Options” section.

In the window that opens, check the “Display command “All functions”” checkbox and secure the result by clicking the “Apply” button.

2) Now let’s look at the program’s capabilities in terms of setting up the TAXI interface. For example, now my program looks like this:

Those. sections on top. Open windows in the bookmarks below. Let's see how to change the location of all elements of the program's working window. Open the main menu again and find the “Panel Settings” section there.

Then everything is simple. With the left mouse button, grab the section whose position we want to change and drag it to where we want to see this panel. For example, like this: I will move the “Open Panel” to the top, and drag the “Section Panel” to the left side of the window.

Click the “Apply” or “Ok” button and voila, this is what our program looks like:

3) Another tip for setting up the program. As a rule, every accountant has some sections or reports that he uses daily. Well, for example, SALT or SALT according to the account. And it would be very convenient if they were always nearby, always at hand. This can be achieved in a very simple way by placing the necessary reports in the “Favorites” section. We will find the balance sheet in the “Reports” section. By pointing the mouse at it, we see a gray star nearby.

4) And one more “secret” for setting up the program interface. There are documents in various sections of the program that some people never use. Well, simply due to the specifics of the organization’s activities. For example, in the “Purchases” section there are documents related to EGAIS.

We don't need these documents and we can remove them from the desktop. To do this, in the editable section in the upper right corner, click on the gear and in the menu that appears, select “Navigation settings”

In the window that appears, we see two columns. On the left are commands that can be added to our desktop. And on the right, those commands that are on our desktop. Find the EGAIS section in the right column and click on the “Delete” button

5) And finally, for those who don’t want to get used to the “Taxi” interface. You can change the interface to the one that was in the first versions of Accounting 3.0.

Here the developers offered us the choice of changing the program interface to the same as in previous versions 8.3 and similar to Accounting 7.7. Having chosen the one we are interested in appearance program, it will have to be restarted.

Which version is better to install on your computer? Of course, the most recent one. Today it is 8.3 or 8.2. The previous ones, even 8.0, are quite an old product that will be inconvenient to use. Try to install the latest, especially if you purchase software for money.

What if it's free? There are demo versions of the databases that can be used for several days - about 30. If you are a beginner accountant and want to practice at home, then this option is quite suitable for you. Moreover, the price of a whole product is by no means small.

Another option is the pirated version. Despite the diligent work of Roskomnadzor, it is quite easy to find an unlicensed version of 1C. Most organizations have exactly this. And, most likely, if you are reading this article, you have also already found a source with a “pirate”. It's worth warning in advance. The installed software will work with virtually no flaws. However, if you plan, as a programmer, to provide services for the operation of illegal 1C: Enterprise, then you risk incurring criminal liability for this. And if you are a simple client, then, again, not a single good programmer will undertake to serve you when they discover a pirated version.

Installation and configuration

Installing the 1C platform, as mentioned above, is not difficult at all.

  • We go to the folder with the program and select the “setup” file there or click on the disk icon, after which the installation window will open.

  • Click “Next”, skipping all the standard steps, stopping only at the window where you need to select program components. We mark the first three without fail. They must be installed on your hard drive.
  • The final window will prompt you to install the security key driver. We also need him, so we agree.

We have successfully installed the platform. Now, in the same way, but without additional settings, you need to install the required configuration. We run the setup file and do everything exactly the same; it will take a few minutes to install the software.

Setting it up to get started

So, we figured out how to install 1C. Now you need to create a database. This, in essence, is the initial setup. Creating a database will be considered using the example of “1C: Accounting” - the most popular configuration.

  • Let's launch the program.
  • As a rule, a message immediately appears in front of us in which the system offers to create a new infobase.
  • Select “Create a new…” and click “Next”.

  • You must select a configuration from the list. Let's do it. Then we come up with a name and move on.
  • Select a location on your hard drive.
  • Click ready.

Now we have a database that we can start working with.

The installation folder contains many files, but you only need to run “setup.exe”.

On all tabs except the Custom Installation tab, click Next. It is advisable to select the first three components and the “Interfaces in various languages” component if necessary.

At the end of the installation, the program will install the protection driver by default (this flag can be cleared). It is recommended not to remove it, then all drivers will be installed automatically.

How to install 1C configuration

To install the configuration, run the “setup.exe” file from the corresponding archive. Additional settings no need to enter. Click Next until the configuration is installed. If the template catalog does not have enough mass, choose another one.

Adding a new infobase

After you have successfully installed the 1C platform and the desired configuration, you can start adding a new information base. Launch the “1C Enterprise” shortcut on your desktop.

Your list will be displayed in the window that opens information bases. Click on the "Add" button.

If you are adding a new infobase, as in our example, select “Create a new infobase”. In the case where the information base was previously created, select another item.

The database can be created either from a template or empty. Due to the fact that we have already installed the configuration, the database will be created from the template. Select the appropriate template and click Next.

If the information base already exists, then in the settings you will only need to indicate its name and location.

Beginning users of programs developed on the 1C:Enterprise platform, having come to the point of purchasing the “box” or having already purchased it, naturally ask the question: “How to install 1C Enterprise?”

In fact, installing 1C Enterprise is a simple process; it is not necessary to have any special skills and knowledge for this. In this article we will take a detailed look at the installation process and give step-by-step instructions to resolve all possible questions during installation.

The first step for installation is to obtain the installation distribution of the 1C platform. You can do this in three ways:

  1. Take the distribution kit on disk in the same yellow box that you received when purchasing any 1C configuration. IN in this case you don’t even have to look for the distribution itself on the disk, but use autorun;
  2. If you have an ITS subscription, simply register on the support site users.v8.1c.ru and download the distribution from there.
  3. Again, if you have an ITS subscription, request the installation distribution from a representative of the company serving you.

*It is worth noting that regardless of where the distribution comes from, the 1C 8 installation process will remain unchanged.

Let's take a closer look at the first two ways to obtain a distribution.

1. The box you purchased contains a disk with installation distributions for the 1C platform and configuration. To install, insert the disc and use autorun. You will see the following window (it is the same for all typical 1C configurations):

  • Quick installation of 1C 8 and launch. The program itself will install the minimum set of components required for operation.
  • Custom installation of 1C 8. The user independently selects the necessary installation components.


To install the 1C platform, select “1C:Enterprise 8”. We will describe further actions below, since they are the same for all points.

2. To download the distribution kit from the 1C support site, enter the address in the address bar of your browser


Once the site loads you will see the following:


Active links for going to the necessary sections are highlighted in the text. You will need the “Software Updates” or “Download Updates” item. Clicking on any of the inscriptions will take you to a page with a list of sections for downloading (of course, after entering the login and password that you specified when registering on the site).



In the list of sections you will need the very first one, “Technological distributions”. Click on it and see the subsections. You will need one of the sections shown in the screenshot below, depending on which platform you want to install.

We go to this subsection and see available versions. We will use the latter, but if necessary, you can choose any of them.


When you click on the desired version, you are taken to a menu of download options. Don't be intimidated by the abundance of items: you will only need one of the two - a technology platform for 32- or 64-bit* versions of Windows.

*It is important to remember one nuance here: the platform for 32-bit versions works perfectly on 64-bit versions, but not vice versa.

After selecting the version, you are taken to a page with a download link. Download the archive with the platform to any location on your hard drive. After unpacking you will receive a folder with files that look like this:


You will need a "Setup" file. It is the penultimate one in the list of files. Launch it by double-clicking and the installation begins.

Direct installation of 1C

The 1C installation process itself is very simple. As a rule, it is enough to agree with the proposed settings during installation.



In the first window, click “Next”, in the second - select the components to install. You don't have to change anything here. To work with 1C, it is enough to install the minimum set of components specified by the system by default. You can also select the folder in which 1C will be installed. By default, this is drive C. Click “Next”.



In the next window you will be asked to select the interface language. There are 3 options available: System settings (by default the language of your Windows versions), English and Russian languages. Choose the desired option. In the next window, the program will inform you that everything is ready for installation. Click the “Install” button. We wait for the installation to complete and in the window that appears we see a proposal to install the protection driver. If you purchased version 1C (USB), then do not uncheck the box. If you have version with software protection, then you can remove it. Click Next.



In the next window, the program will inform you that the installation of 1C Enterprise is complete. Uncheck the box if you do not want to read the help information and click “Done.”

So we're done: we've completed the 1C installation. After this, a shortcut to quickly launch the program should appear on the desktop. Ahead of you is the installation and configuration of 1C - the configuration in which you will work.
