In 2019, the competition includes three separate competitions: for students in grades 2-4 in English, German and French; for pupils of grades 5-7 in English, German, French and Chinese; for pupils of grades 8-11 in English, German, French, Chinese and Japanese.
The first, qualifying, stage is held in absentia. To participate, you need to register.
For students in grades 2-7, the competition ends at the correspondence stage. Winners and awardees will receive certificates. Schoolchildren from grades 8-11 who have successfully completed the assignments of the qualifying stage are invited to the final. The competition is held in face-to-face format.

Unfortunately, I cannot rate the assignments, because I do not speak German. But the child liked it, participated with pleasure. The impression from the organization of the event was spoiled by the fact that the whole system was frozen 10 minutes before the end of the allotted time. My daughter was very worried that nothing had survived. As a result, the tasks were scored, but literally three points were not enough to reach the prize-winning place. Perhaps, if not for this failure in the system, they would have received their diploma. I sent a letter with a description of the problem and screenshots of the screens on feedback(as the organizers asked - to write reviews), but received nothing in response. I hope we managed to solve the problem. We will definitely participate next year!

Based on the results of the correspondence round, 25% of the participants with high scores will be invited to the full-time stage of the Olympiad, which will be held in March 2016.
