Geyser- air massage. A metal nozzle of any size, has several dozen holes, 5-7 mm in diameter, mounted in the bottom of the bowl, connected to an air generator (compressor). A powerful air flow has a massaging effect on the human body and, in combination with underwater lighting, creates a beautiful visual effect.

Hydromassage fountains and cascades(“waterfall”, “mushroom”, “umbrella”, “water cannon”). In addition to decorative purposes, they serve as aqua massage for the muscles of the back, neck and shoulders. Included in the set: metal water intake, spout (the shape can be changed at the request of the Customer), insert element, pump from 34 m3/h, control unit.

Hydromassage jets are mounted into the walls of the pool and provide the user with a body massage with a mixture of air and water flow. The wall-mounted massage station with any number of nozzles is equipped with a pneumatic start.

Countercurrents
Artificial flow - counterflow (single-jet and double-jet, built-in and mounted). The water jet creates additional resistance for the user, allowing for additional stress when swimming. Included: a metal niche, a metal front panel with a handrail, a nozzle and with buttons for pneumatic start and regulation of the amount of air, pumps from 2 to 5 kW (capacity from 24 to 78 m3/h) and an electronic control unit. Produced in Germany, Sweden and Spain.

Underwater lighting
The most popular are halogen lamps of various powers (50, 100, 150 and 300 W). Such lamps can be made of white plastic or stainless steel. It is possible to install a decorative metal overlay on a plastic lamp. In addition, you can choose a set of light filters for the lamps to diversify the color range of pool lighting. It must be remembered that for underwater lamps it is necessary to use step-down transformers.

Home pools in modern private buildings are significantly different from those nondescript man-made ponds dug by Soviet citizens in their summer cottages.

Even in the not-so-distant 80s of the last century, there was no talk of special sets of equipment for a swimming pool; the ultimate dream was mini-baths for a sauna or concrete containers with chlorinated water. Times have changed, the pool has become an essential element of the landscape interior and a way to fill leisure time.

Types of home pools

Based on the openness of their location, pools are divided into two types:

  1. Outdoor ponds located in the open air. Water treatments in the sun and fresh air are equally beneficial for adults and children in terms of healing and relaxation effects. Unfortunately, outdoor pools are only suitable for swimming in warm summer weather. In addition, leaves and small debris falling into the water negatively affect the quality of the water in the reservoir.
  2. Swimming pools inside the house (they are often called closed), providing the opportunity to use water treatments all year round.

Based on the degree of mobility, there are three main types of tanks for domestic reservoirs:

  • Stationary containers, which are reinforced concrete bowls mounted in a specially dug pit. Their main feature is their fixed size and location;
  • Prefabricated models that allow installation in a prepared recess or mounted directly on the surface of the land. The peculiarity of their design is the presence of a prefabricated frame, which is mounted in a selected location and allows dismantling if desired to change the location;
  • Inflatable pools that can be placed anywhere.

Depending on the type of tank, the equipment for your home pool is selected. Despite the differences in water tank materials, the methods for filling the tanks with water, filtering and discharging water are almost the same.

Basic equipment for home pools

In order for an improvised home pond to become a full-fledged aquatic system for swimming and entertainment, it must be brought into compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards governing the preservation of water purity throughout the entire period of use.

The pool is equipped with a complex equipment system, which includes:

  1. The main equipment that ensures the normal functioning of the aqua system. This includes:
    • Pumps for filling the bowl with water and pumping it out, as well as for water exchange in filtering devices;
    • Water purifiers that keep it clean for a long time;
    • Heaters that create comfortable conditions for swimming.
  2. Auxiliary equipment, the purpose of which is to turn an ordinary swimming procedure into active recreation and aquatic entertainment. It includes geysers, spotlights, and various attractions.

Below is a diagram of the basic equipment of a swimming pool, from which it is obvious what attention should be paid to cleaning and disinfecting fresh water before pouring it into the reservoir bowl.

You can do without special equipment when servicing a small shallow children's pool, which is filled from an irrigation hose, and the water is scooped out of it with an ordinary bucket. But for a pool with a volume of 40-50 cubic meters of water, manual maintenance will turn into hard labor. Let's look at the elements of basic pool equipment.

Pumps

The pumps are designed to ensure optimal water exchange in a home aquatic system. For swimming pools, they are not considered as independent equipment, since they work in conjunction with a water filtration system.

The technical parameters of the pump and filter devices must be carefully linked. It is not recommended to exceed the pump performance over that of the filter, so as not to deteriorate the quality of cleaning.

Based on their equipment, pool pumps are divided into two types:

  • Pumping units without filtering equipment at the inlet;
  • Models equipped with a pre-filter to catch large debris such as branches, children's toys, and plastic bottles. Such preliminary filters are called prefilters. They significantly increase pump life by reducing the likelihood of damage to the impeller.

Filters

Filters are used to automatically maintain water purity so as not to replace it too often.

All pool filters work according to the following principle:

  • Contaminated water is passed through filter material;
  • The smallest impurities are retained on the surface of the filter material;
  • The purified liquid is released outside.

Of the modern filter systems, two types are most effective:

  • Sand filters filled with one or more layers of quartz sand;
  • Cartridge filters that deposit debris at the bottom of the cartridge.

Heaters

Two types of heaters are used to heat water:

  • Flow-through electric heaters providing direct heating of water at a given temperature;
  • Heat exchangers that use the thermal energy of a coolant (usually hot water) circulating through special channels to heat.

Electric pool heaters are subject to increased requirements for corrosion resistance due to the increased level of chlorination. For this purpose, they are made of stainless steel or titanium.

General layout of equipment

The diagram shows a permanent installation with all the standard equipment for composite pools.

Water treatment scheme

The skimmer collects water, which then goes into the filter. The skimmer has a bucket for collecting large debris from the surface of the pool. The skimmer contains chemicals to disinfect the water.

Designed for draining and filling water in the pool. When the valve is open, it provides better water purification.

Serves for the pool filtration system (clean water release) as well as for hydromassage procedures.

An electrical panel in which all the electrical parts of the entire pool are installed. The pool is filtered at an automatically set time.

Designed for pool filtration. The filter has a 6-position valve, which is used to select functions: draining, filtration, filter washing, draining, etc. The sand in the filter is changed every 2-3 years.

Designed to circulate water throughout the entire pool system. Thanks to the prefilter, you can manually remove all the debris that the skimmer did not remove.

A set of necessary flex pipes, PVC pipes, angles, tees, taps, couplings that are needed for piping the entire pool.

To illuminate the water, we use underwater spotlights 300V to 12V with step-down transformers. You can also install water lighting in different colors and LED lamps (the cost is 2 times higher)

In order to reduce voltage and protect yourself from electricity. current we install a step-down transformer lighting with a 12 volt light bulb. The luminous flux of a light bulb is like

300 watt. The transformer and the lamp are connected thanks to a connecting box, which is installed near the pool.

If you want to heat the pool through the heating of your home, then a heat exchanger is the best and cheapest solution for heating the pool. Also, if the pool is located outside, we recommend that it be additionally insulated at our factory. The insulation system is called Termopool.

The electric heater is designed for electrical heating of water. Installed in cases where there is no heating supply from a gas boiler. It is advisable to have 380v, the pool with equipment is grounded and has no contact with water.

Aseko automatic water disinfection system. The station independently monitors water quality. Now you don’t have to throw in tablets every week and check the quality of the water; the Aseko Automatic Station will do it for you. We recommend this one as it has proven itself well in the pool market.

The most modern and expensive water disinfection system. Now the water in the pool is chemical-free. The ionizer provides for the saturation of water with copper and silver ions. After treatment, the water has no odor and is beneficial to human health.

If you want to swim against the flow of water, then you need a countercurrent. Countercurrent is also a powerful means of hydromassage. The option is quite expensive. Mainly used by men. Convenient to install in small pools. There are several positions from hydromassage to sports swimming. We recommend!

A heat pump is a device that generates thermal energy internally. This is the most modern source of heating for swimming pools. The main elements of the pump are a condenser, a compressor, a fan and a heat exchanger.

A set of all pipes, angles, adapters, seals that are necessary for the entire water management system.

Designed for automatic pool cleaning. Recommendation: purchase after you are tired of cleaning your pool by hand.

To prevent you from adding water to the pool with a hose, we recommend that all our customers set an automatic water level. He independently controls the water level and tops it up himself.

All pool equipment is installed in a special box and installed near the pool. Now you don’t need to build buildings specifically for this. The box is equipped with a lid. Installed level with the pool. There are 2 types of large and small box.

Additionally, you can complete the pool with a stainless steel ladder. We recommend it to older people. Installed near the pool.

We offer two types of equipment: Kripsol Spain and Peraqua Austria (30% more expensive than Spain). Chinese equipment is 30% cheaper than Spain, but we have it we don't put it due to poor quality equipment.

Each item in pool equipment has its own functions and purpose. Listed below are the accessories that are necessary to make the pool convenient and safe to use.
Every pool tends to get dirty over time. To solve this problem, there is a robot vacuum cleaner. It cleans quickly, saves energy, the mechanical part lasts a long time and there is no need to use chemicals when using it.
To ensure clean water enters the pool, filtration systems must be included in the list of pool equipment. A good system can filter pool water four times in 12 hours. For economical operation, the systems are equipped with timers, with which you can independently select the cleaning mode.
By installing a special apparatus to create a countercurrent, you can get a counterflow consisting of water and air when swimming. In order for both adults and children to use it, a power regulator is installed on it.
Pool equipment would not be complete without a ladder. They are made from high quality steel. It is made with steps covered with a special anti-slip coating. This makes it safe for use in swimming pools.
You can't do without a bottom drain. Installed in the deepest place, it draws in bottom contaminants during water filtration. For its manufacture, durable plastic is used that is protected from exposure to chemical elements.
Pool pavilions are made in various sizes and from different materials. They are made from transparent polycarbonate, which is also highly durable. You can choose an economy cover if the pool is small and should not cover the surrounding area.
Artificial waterfalls will add beauty to the pool. The principle of operation is that water is pumped into the storage tank, which subsequently flows through the diffuser.

What equipment is used to operate the pool? What must be installed, and what can you refuse? How often should you clean your pool?

Artificial ponds and swimming pools are deservedly popular among owners of private houses and plots. They additionally humidify and cool the air in the area. And it’s just convenient if the pool is near the house. On the subject of hygiene - you know exactly what quality the water is and when the last time it was cleaned. During the maintenance process, special equipment for the pool is used: it ensures normal functionality and simplifies operation.

Building a swimming pool is as serious a task as building a residential building. Before starting work, conduct a geodetic survey of the site to know the composition of the soil and the depth of the groundwater. Construction work should be carried out only by a company that specializes in the installation of artificial reservoirs, and not by a random team chosen for being “cheap.” A swimming pool is a complex hydraulic device that requires a professional approach to planning and installation.

If your pool exceeds 15 m2 in area, you will need to obtain permission to build it from the relevant service.

Small swimming pools with an area of 15 to 30 sq. m. are often located on the backyard territory. m, up to 160 cm deep. The construction period for a small pool with strict adherence to technology is about two months. But terms may increase due to insufficient funding, weather conditions, season, total area of the pool. The cost of a small pool of 30 m2 with equipment will be about 15,000-20,000.u. Accordingly, a smaller pool with an area of 15 m2 will cost 10,000 USD.

Pool equipment - minimum equipment

A modern swimming pool at a private house is a whole system aimed at solving a number of problems (water filtration, maintaining a stable temperature). The equipment that is used for the pool is divided into decorative, auxiliary and mandatory.

Filtration system– mandatory equipment. There are two systems for filtering water: through skimmers and using an overflow tray. The filtration system draws water through the skimmers with a pump, which passes through the filters and returns to the pool bowl. In an overflow pool, the water is filtered through special overflows. This is a more labor-intensive process, but it is much more effective.

The filtration installation must operate constantly - the entire volume of the bowl must be filtered three times per day, regardless of whether the pool was used or not. For public pools, the filtration rate is 30 cubic m/h, for private pools – 50 cubic m/h. The filter itself in such a system is made of high-quality materials, resistant to chemicals and water, connected to a water distributor and a pressure sensor. The optimal filter in terms of price/quality ratio is sand: it is very easy to maintain. A filtration system with a sand filter costs from 500 USD.

You can also install a system for automatic disinfection and water purification (installations for electrolysis, chlorine disinfection, silver purification, UV-cleaning, ozonizers, etc.). The best water quality is demonstrated by systems for purifying and enriching water with silver and copper; they are also the most expensive. Chlorine dispensers are convenient and greatly simplify the maintenance of pool water.

Comfort equipment

Heat exchangers and heaters– they perform identical functions (maintaining a comfortable water temperature), but act differently. The electric heater contains heating elements (the principle of an electric kettle, a boiler), and a heat exchanger is connected to the heating system of the house, and warm water is mixed with the water in the pool. The heat exchanger is designed to operate in aggressive environments (chlorinated, sea water), therefore it is made of high-quality metals. The advantage of electric heaters is their small size - it is convenient to install them in small pools. Heating systems are equipped with pressure sensors, thermostats, and are protected from overheating.

The optimal water temperature for an outdoor pool is 24-26 C

Can also be installed in a swimming pool countercurrents– equipment that creates artificial waves and currents. They are installed along the long part of the pool so that it is possible to swim in the direction with a greater load. The cost of this equipment starts from 1500 USD.

Hydromassage systems– special equipment for hydro-air massage, also classified as optional equipment.

Lighting– the most popular equipment for swimming pools. It is inexpensive compared to the necessary equipment, effectively decorates the area and allows you to use the pool in the evening and at night.

Care and support

To make your pool a joy and help you maintain excellent shape, you need to pay attention to it and provide systematic, high-quality care.

Warm pool water is a natural environment for the proliferation of pathogens. Pool equipment will help you maintain healthy water levels. Every day you need to add from 30 to 50 liters of water for each swimmer. If the water becomes cloudy, you need a special anticoagulant drug. Its dose will be determined for you after a chemical analysis of the water. There are special kits on sale for analyzing pool water with detailed instructions. There are situations when you cannot independently monitor the equipment and water in the pool. Then it is better to enter into an agreement with a company that will provide proper care and maintenance of your pool.

Pool equipment turns swimming into a pleasant and rewarding experience. A beautiful arrangement of the area around the pool will make the landscape on the site much more interesting. Illumination will allow you to relax by the water in the dark. Whatever equipment you choose, always make sure it is in good working order.

Pools can have different volumes, differ in shape, be collapsible or stationary, located outdoors or indoors. But their structure is almost the same.

In order to comply with operating rules, the water in the pool must undergo proper purification and be in some movement. There is special equipment for this - a circulation system and Other elements are optional and are installed additionally, depending on the customer’s preferences.

Technical equipment of swimming pools.

Any pool must be equipped with a mandatory list of equipment, otherwise the water will very quickly become dirty. Small debris will begin to float in it, algae will appear, the walls and floor of the reservoir will become slippery. In such an environment, bacteria actively multiply, which is unacceptable, especially for the sanitary safety of the facility. It is unlikely that you will want to swim in muddy water that emits questionable moldy odors. It should be clean and transparent, or better yet, even slightly bluish, as if you are diving into a beautiful blue sea!

Designed for water purification. It consists of , which are secured with special connecting elements. For small reservoirs, one installation is sufficient; in larger pools with large volumes, several such systems will be required. Using the valve, the preferred operating mode of the pool filter is adjusted. To set the water in motion, select the circulation mode, to start cleaning - filtration, you can also install backwashing, sealing the filter element, draining or wintering. The choice of water treatment equipment will determine not only the degree of purification, but also the speed of processing the liquid entering it.

used in overflow type reservoirs. These include:

- - installed at the entrance to the gutter through which water enters the compensation tank;

- - required after filtering the liquid. These are special elements through which clean water flows back into the pool;

- - designed for draining liquid.

The skimmer type also uses embedded elements, namely:

- - elements through which liquid enters the filtration system;

- - at the end of the cleaning process, the water flows back into the pool, which is what such elements are designed for.

Thus, - these are special parts through which the water exchange process occurs (through a filtration system), starting from taking liquid from the pool and ending with replenishing the bowl with clean water. To ensure normal water circulation, the entire system must be precisely designed. All must have the required diameter so that they comply with the pipeline laying plan.

Additional equipment for the pool.

At the customer's request, additional equipment can be installed in the pool. It differs in purpose and technical capabilities. Some reservoirs are equipped with installations for automatic disinfection, heating of pool water, lighting, wellness devices or entertainment items. Such equipment makes the pool more individual and gives comfort to its users.

Regardless of the time of year, the contents of the pool must maintain a certain temperature. Water can using the following means of influence:

- - a somewhat outdated heating method, in which the temperature of the reservoir liquid increases from the boiler installed in the system;

- - used in most modern buildings, this is an electrical installation with the help of which heating occurs. Requires connection to an electrical network of at least 380 V. Sensors and relays are initially built into the equipment, which saves the customer from additional costs;

Solar collector - the temperature of the liquid changes under the influence of solar energy.

Some water heating installations already have built-in temperature controllers, but if they do not exist, you must additionally install a thermostat. It is responsible for turning the heating element on and off, which must be done at the moment when the water reaches the set temperature or cools down below acceptable values.

Designed for lighting and decorating the pool tank. They can have a wide variety of effects, vary in color, and be halogen, fiber optic or diode.

Or a chemical dispenser - designed for continuous monitoring of the chemical composition of water. If it changes, the installation adds the required amount of disinfectant or other drug.

Used for wellness procedures, training loads and other individual programs. Using a separately installed pump, a countercurrent is artificially created. The equipment is perfect for training athletes and can also be used in recreational activities.

Depending on the type of nozzle installed, a massage stream of air or water is created under water, respectively. Such installations operate using a compressor. Today there are models capable of mixing liquid with air in one stream, creating an aero-hydro massage.

Can be made in the form of a fountain. Performs a decorative function and also acts as an additional aero device.

In order to ensure safety in the area where the pool is located, additional equipment is connected to special panels or control panels and transformer installations. With their help, all devices and other elements connected to the pool are monitored and controlled. Such switchboards and transformers are responsible for turning pumps on and off, the moment of their smooth start, monitoring and leveling out voltage surges.

Features of installation of installations.

Pool equipment is installed during the construction of the pool itself. Some individual elements can be installed after the construction of the reservoir is completed. Installation is carried out in several stages, having a certain sequence:

In the case of arranging a concrete pool, at the stage of pouring it, it is necessary to install embedded elements;

At the second stage, the pipeline and main equipment are installed, which is possible only after all layers of concrete have completely dried. Installations powered by electricity are mounted 10-15 cm above the main level.

This requirement is observed for safety reasons in order to avoid short circuits in the event of a pipe leak. It doesn’t hurt to take care of the insulation of all wires and the installation itself. Special waterproof materials can help with this;

At the end of all work, you need to check the pool for leaks. To do this, the bowl is filled with water for 10-14 days, and the installed equipment is run with normal settings.

Setting up a swimming pool yourself is a rather difficult process. Without certain skills, you cannot undertake such labor-intensive construction. And even clear guidelines and detailed descriptions may not be enough for the construction of a capital reservoir. The reliability and high quality of an object can only be guaranteed by true professionals in their field, so it is better to turn to qualified specialists who have extensive experience and invaluable practical skills. After reading this article, you will be able to monitor the actions of hired workers and test your theoretical knowledge.

It is worth noting that the useful life of the pool depends not only on how correctly the construction work and installation of the main and additional equipment were carried out, but also on the quality of the materials used. It is at this stage that you can show your participation. Since it is up to you to choose the contractor whose responsibilities will include all of the above work, as well as the purchase of filters and pumps for the pool, a water heating unit, waterproofing and lighting systems, disinfection, embedded elements, overflow grilles, etc.
